Wish you could make navigating SharePoint easier? Now you can!
When you navigate in SharePoint, don't you wish you could get to multiple subsites, various projects or links simply by changing tabs instead of opening a separate browser window and entering the URL? Does your Quick Launch have so many links that you wish you could collapse and expand the list when you want to navigate to something? So do we!
SharePoint Navigators allows you to create custom menus, tabs, tree items and a Site Actions menu to navigate to sites, pages, or lists within and across sites and site collections. SharePoint security is enforced by keeping users without appropriate access from accessing any SharePoint links you may configure in your navigation via item-level security trimming. These navigation controls can help you build a clean, user-friendly project management site, or any other type of site that requires customized navigation controls.
Installation automatically includes all 3 Web Parts and the Site Actions Menu feature. Once installed, locate the Bamboo Navigators list on the site where you added one or all of the Web Parts. Configure the list for the menu, tab or tree view item structure that you want, then select a skin to complement your site.
For the Site Actions Menu, locate the Bamboo Navigators - Site Action Configuration list on the top-level site where you installed the product. Configure the list to point to a Bamboo Navigators list defining the menu item structure of your Site Actions menu, then select the icons that you want displayed for the parent and child menu items.
