SharePoint Task Master includes these features:

• Drag and drop Gantt bar interface to move tasks from one parent task to another.
• Assign Finish-to-Start dependencies between tasks.
• Show Work Break Down structure of project tasks.
• Zoom in or out on the Gantt timeline to see more or less tasks in the Gantt chart.
• Dynamically view tasks by Day, Week, Month or Year.
• Create, edit or delete a project task directly from the Gantt view.
• Show the color coding legend at the bottom of the Gantt chart.
• Automatically creates the Bamboo Project Task List when you add the Web Part to a page. This list allows you to begin setting up your project tasks immediately after configuring the Web Part.
• Use an existing Task or Project Task List instead of the Bamboo Project Task List.
• Edit an item using the standard SharePoint context menu in the Title column.

The SharePoint Task Master is a Gantt chart that shows tasks and milestones hierarchically with dependencies and related task information of your choice, such as Assigned To or Duration. All the task data for this Web Part is automatically stored in the Bamboo Project Task List which is automatically installed on the site when you add the SharePoint Task Master to a page in the same site.

To use the SharePoint Task Master:

1. Add the Web Part to a page, and access the tool pane to configure your Gantt chart.

2. Click New Item to define your project tasks in the Bamboo Project Task List.

3. Indicate whether the task is a Parent Task (i.e. Summary Task) or not.

4. Indicate whether the task has a Predecessor Task that must be completed before this task is started (i.e. set up a dependency).

5. Indicate any constraints for tasks following predecessor tasks, such as the task must start As Soon As Possible, Start No Earlier Than a specific date, Start No Later Than a specific date or Must Start On a specific date.

6. Drag and drop tasks from one Parent Task to another, switch views (i.e. day, week, month or year), print the Gantt chart, or zoom the timescale in and out for a more detailed or higher level view.
