Combining the features of both the Bamboo Selector and Bamboo Linked Selector, the new Bamboo Lookup Selector still allows users to easily and intelligently reference existing data in your SharePoint lists, access list items from across your Site Collection, and add automatic duplicate removal and find-as-you-type functionality to your lookups. You can also add parent-child relationships to your columns, allowing the data entered in one field to determine the options presented in another.

For more complex data entry, simply select the Allow Multiple Values option, and the front-end UI changes to allow multiple selections to be added or removed from a list -- choose as many as you'd like. If you're using a series of parent-child Lookup Selectors, each subsequent field will immediately update as you add or remove each selection from the prior one.

And now, the new Lookup Selector goes even further; version 2.0 adds automatic updating in response to changes in source data, ensuring that your Lookup fields aren't populated with out of data information. If you change information at on source list, any Lookup Selectors tied to the data will update automatically.

The Bamboo Rich Text column adds multi-language spell check, automatic Picture Library image uploading, and style support to the functionality of the standard Rich Text column. With full editing capabilities and support for in-line, structured image management, Bamboo Rich Text columns are perfect for storing complex, formatted text data (such as Knowledge Base articles, concept plans, and brainstorming sessions) that can be viewed inside a SharePoint list's Standard View, unlike Document Library data, which is viewed externally.

The Bamboo Visual Indicator gives you the ability to display incremental progress or any other status in the form of a color-coded bar or a percentage-based progress bar. Visual indicators support floating tooltip information, custom color sets, and display percentage information in both visual and numeric form, enabling you to quickly scan through lengthy SharePoint lists at a glance, while still retaining access to individual list item data.

Visual Indicators are easy to set up -- simply associate one with a choice or percentage column, configure your color settings, and the data in the associated column will be mapped to the Visual Indicator.

The Bamboo Column Level Security column encrypts text, numeric, and currency based data, allowing only users and groups designated by the list owner to see the contents of the column. With column-level security, you can store secure and public data side by side, knowing that each user will only be shown data they have access rights to. Even better, you can individually and independently assign read/edit access, so data can be viewed, but not edited, by mid-level users.
