Welcome users to your portal by displaying a personal welcome message that includes the user's name. The Hello Web Part features a standard message which changes depending on the time of day. Example: "Good Afternoon, Mary Jones"

Currently available formats:

None: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Bold: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Italics: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones
Underline: Good Afternoon, Mary Jones

Other features:

• Use your own custom greeting messages, in any language.
• Choose different ways to display user name: First/Last, Last/First, First, Last.
• Change the text color of the user name.

Warning: It is very important that you follow the steps outline in the Upgrade section of the Application Note to remove the previous version of this web part before installing the new version 2 on your SharePoint server.
