QUESTION
Why am I unable to find my product listed in Bamboo's NEW Web License Manager?
RESPONSE
Only Bamboo products that are deployed to SharePoint, i.e. Web Parts, are designed to be activated via Bamboo's Web Licensing Model. License keys for desktop/server applications, i.e. List Bulk Import, List Bulk Export, User Profile Sync and SharePoint Desktop Explorer, must be activated with Bamboo's License Manager utility. Bamboo Web Licensing is a recent customer-centric feature. We are continuing to transition our product offerings to support this functionality.
To confirm if a specific product, bundled package or suite has been upgraded to support this feature, read the following KB articles to track the status of this rollout:
Note: If you have not yet installed any Bamboo products, the Web License Manager will not show any products. If you have installed Bamboo products that support Web Licensing prior to installing the Bamboo Web License Manager, you will need to uninstall your Bamboo products and reinstall them in order to manage them in the Bamboo Web License Manager. See this article to determine which of our products have been updated to work with Bamboo Web Licensing. If you choose not to reinstall these products, they will continue to run under the old License Manager software.
