  • SharePoint List Mode: Multi Selection Lookup not appear for in line editing mode
  • Users need to export parent and child data separately. Parent and Child relation can't be exported to the same Excel Sheet.
  • Collapsing nested data collapses groups instead.
  • Products using AJAX extensions do not work if Web Page Security Validation is turned off. See KB.12230 for more information.
R2.8 Known Issues and Limitations:
  • Unable to export master and nested data into same Excel workbook. We have to export them out separately.
  • All other limitations and known issues listed here are still in effect in this release.
R2.7 See R2.6.
R2.6

Known Issues:

  • UI Issue: Inline Edit Date-Time control is not lined up correctly in the horizontal position.
  • UI Issue with Web 2.0 skin: UI distortions when rendering data view where the skin is Web 2.0 only and when we have many groups in Group By.
  • When open the nested child data then collapse, the grouped list closes completely, not only the row with the child data.

Limitations:

  • Unable to do client side validation for the following SQL data type: bit; char(10); nchar(10); uniqueidentifier; varbinary(50); varbinary(MAX). Therefore, invalid data will be shown after the record update has failed.
  • For SP List only, Group By option works for the entire data set if this option is set in the tool pane settings only. It does not dynamically Group By. List Rollup, SQL and MashPoint/BDC will be grouped by the currently displayed set of items.
  • Sort: It will work for the entire data set if it is set in the tool pane settings (This will work for all data source options such as SP List, List Rollup, SQL or MashPoint/BDC.).
  • Unable to export to excel of nested data.
R2.5 Known Issues and Limitations:
  • If users are using List Rollup Web Part with this product, users require to use List Rollup Web Part R3.4 with Data-Viewer R2.5.
R2.0 Known Issues and Limitations:
  • User can click on Export to Excel button to export data out. However, the button will be disabled until the page is refreshed.
  • Web Part will show "System out of Memory Error" when it is bound to an unusually large amount of data (i.e. 21,000+ items & 50+ columns).
  • Upgrading to 1.2: For users who configured the Web Part to show SQL data, after upgrading, you will have to delete the Web Part from the page and add it back again. Before doing so, you should save your configuration settings in the tool pane since deleting the Web Part will also delete these settings.
  • For the List Rollup data source option, you must use data views/forms created with List Rollup version 3.2 or higher.
  • Column names in Group by bar on Web Part interface are unreadable when using Web20 skin.
  • If you group by more than 2 columns, all items are shown under the last grouping node.
  • Cannot dynamically filter on columns of the following types: Calculated, Lookup, % Complete, Person or Group, Date and Time, Hyperlink or Picture.
  • The dynamic filter, currently, only filters by one column at a time.
  • When sorting on a Number or Currency data type, the data is sorted as a string data type.
  • The Inline Edit form does not currently support the following column types: Lookup with multiple values, Calculated, or Multiple Lines of Text. These items are not displayed in the Inline Edit form.
  • The Inline Editing feature in Data-viewer Web Part only supports these two datasources: SharePoint List and List Rollup.
  • The exported Excel file doesn’t retain the correct conditional formatting color applied in the Web Part.
