What is a Cloud Part™?

Cloud Parts™ are designed to enhance Microsoft SharePoint® by providing components to extend SharePoint functionality from the cloud. Cloud Parts can provide services such as charting, mapping, group calendaring, document conversion and more. For those who are familiar with the concept of SharePoint Web Parts, perhaps the easiest way to think of Cloud Parts is that they are "Web Parts based in the cloud" - but there's really so much more to the Cloud Part story than that...

Column Chart Cloud Part -  The Column Chart Cloud Part adds cloud-based vertical bar charts to your SharePoint site, without the need to install software.
 
Map Chart Cloud Part - 
The Map Chart Cloud Part lets you display color-coded SharePoint data on US, world, and regional maps, without the need to install software.

Download Instructions:

Bamboo Cloud Parts are currently in Beta and are free to use. To start a free trial, please click on the "Try It Free" button next to a product description. If not already registered, you will be asked to create an account with the Bamboo Storefront. The e-mail address you provide will be used to send you product instructions. The username and password you create during the registration will be required to configure the Cloud Part and download additional Cloud Parts.

Setup Instructions:

Complete "zero-install" installation instructions and a usage guide for your Cloud Part can be accessed from our Bamboo Online Product Documentation system. Setup is a quick process involving a few easy steps:

Download and extract your Cloud Part dwp file
Open a SharePoint site and upload the dwp file to your Web Part Site Gallery
Modify any SharePoint page and add the Cloud Part to it from the Gallery
Use the Edit Web Part menu and your registration login to access the Cloud Part configuration settings
Save the settings and start enjoying your Cloud Part!

Cloud Part Beta products are not currently supported via our Helpdesk. Please enter all questions, issues and bugs in the Cloud Part forum located on the Bamboo Nation Community site.
