Welcome to the July edition of Bamboo e-news!


Several cool products were released during this hot summer month and a few others are just around the corner. PM Central™ continues to be a big hit with our customers and partners. For those of you anticipating the next release, get a sneak peek into what you can expect to see in PM Cental version 1.5 before year end. Live PM Cental workshops are also planned for DC, Boston and New York City, providing free hands-on instruction for using PM Central to manage projects in SharePoint. Be sure to get on our email list to be notified as details become available.

But, that's not all. We'd like to quench your thirst with a 6-pack. A SharePoint Custom Column Pack, that is. Two new custom columns hit our shelves this month providing you with even more ways to indulge your SharePoint lists - column validation and KPI's. Why stop there? SharePoint Video Library is about to graduate from Bamboo Labs and join the ranks of products like MashPoint® that got their start there as well. As a way to thank you, we have this month launched the SharePoint User Group Community Project. Just as all the students get ready to return back to school, this month we want to highlight one school district’s SharePoint success story. Thanks to our partner IT Groove and the Bamboo Lookup Selector web part, the Victoria School Board was able to implement a knowledge shar.  They get an A+ for their ‘Kiosk solution!’ 

The dog days of summer haven’t slowed down our recent and new enrollees, either.  This month we recognize speakTECH of California as an active partner in our program.  Although they are a fairly new partner, they are active in reselling Bamboo web parts in their solutions.  We also want to welcome Contract Forge with their offices in New Zealand and Australia, biz-ICT in the UK!
