The following outlines how to quickly configure
a rollup of all the Tasks Lists within a Site Collection in List Rollup 5.0.
Add the List Rollup Web Parts to a Page
- Select (or create) a page where you want to add the List Rollup Schema
Designer and List Rollup Grid View Web Parts.
- Click Site Actions in the upper right corner and select Edit Page.
- Click the Add a Web Part bar in the area of the page where you
want to add the Web Part.
- From the Add Web Parts window, scroll down to the Bamboo Solutions
section, select the Bamboo List Rollup Schema Designer and Bamboo List
Rollup Grid View Web Part check boxes, and then click Add.
- Click the Exit Edit Mode link under Site Actions.
Create and Configure a New List Rollup Schema
- From the Bamboo List Rollup Schema Designer toolbar, click New
Schema.

- For each step (except Step 6), read the instructions on the screen and click the corresponding button on the
right hand side and select the options shown in the above illustration.
Note: In Step 2, select a Tasks List that you want to use as the template
list for all Tasks Lists rolled up in the Site Collection. In Step 4, you
can define which columns from your template list that you want rolled up across
all your lists. In Step 7, you can enter any Tasks Lists that you do not
want to include in the rollup.
- Click the Preview Rollup button to view a quick preview
of the rolled up data. The preview displays directly below the List Rollup
Schema Designer.
- Click the Create/Update Schema button to save the
schema.
