| Technical Writer |
Through collaboration with the product management team and engineering resources our tech writers develop, write, and maintain software installation, configuration and usage instructions, online knowledge base content, support blog articles, quick start guides, and provide some graphics and web content for our online storefront.
|
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working under minimal supervision, writers review, develop, and edit complex technical materials,
including software configuration and usage documents, online knowledge base content, and product support materials; ensure compliance
with industry standards and best practices of style and format; provide expertise in the use of the written English language including overall
structure and organization of material to create professional documentation.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience writing end user documentation or training documentation for software products
- Background in SharePoint installation, configuration, and support strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Familiarity with CSS & XML a plus
- Experience with print, web-based, and electronic delivery of documents
- Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading
- Ability to complete assigned deliverables within timelines and work well in a fast-paced project environment
- Ability to collaborate well in a team environment
- BA or BS degree in a technical or communications field preferred
- Experience withproject management software and methodologies a plus

| Senior Support Engineer |
Bamboo is currently looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join our customer support team. The primary purpose of this position is working
with customers globally to make sure our products and the customer's SharePoint implementations are performing optimally.
|
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot top tier support issues, conduct root cause analysis
- Document procedures in Ticket tracking application
- Help customers realize the value of their SharePoint investment
- Serve as a mentor to other support engineers and be a key contributor to the direction of our support and services organization
- Installation Support Services via web meeting
- Help maintain test environment(s) for the Support team
|
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2013/ SharePoint 2010 / Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007
- Past Experience as a SharePoint administrator in a large organization a plus
- IIS
- SQL Server
- PowerShell
- Active Directory, DNS
- Storage Technologies
- Web Services and .NET framework
- Basic development skills, .NET, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, etc.
- VMware Virtual Infrastructure
- Windows Server
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Quick learner; able to pick up new technologies and skills quickly
- Problem Solving / Decision Making
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Know how to keep customer satisfied, even when an issue takes longer than planned
- Understand issues and suggest workarounds, when appropriate and/or available
